How we work

How an engagement runs.

Four steps, in order, on every engagement. No deck at the end, no dependency on us afterwards.

01 How it works

Four steps. You always know where we are.

  1. 01

    A conversation

You tell us how the business or the team works and what worries you. We tell you honestly whether we can help.

Free, on a call. No deck, no pitch. If we are not the right fit, we say so on the call.

You get A clear yes or no, and why.

  2. 02

    We sit down properly

With the numbers of the business, or the day-to-day of the team. We follow the real work, not the version in the process doc.

Paid, and credited against the build if we carry on. We ask to see the work being done, out loud, and we read the numbers behind it.

You get A map: what works, where time or money is lost, and what we would fix first.

  3. 03

    We build the fixes

With you next to us, inside the tools you already use. One problem at a time, in the order the map says.

Nothing is built about a team behind its back. Every piece is tested with the people who will run it, and handed over with the instructions inside.

You get Working solutions your people run, and know how to change.

  4. 04

    We measure and scale

We check the numbers we agreed at the start. What works gets extended. What does not gets cut.

The goal is that you stop needing us for what we built. If you still need us to operate it, we have not finished.

You get Results you can see in your own numbers.

Principles
  • With you, not for you.

We sit in the room, or on the call, with the people who own the work. Nothing gets built about a team behind its back.

  • We make ourselves unnecessary.

The system is yours to run when we leave. If you still need us to operate it, we have not finished.

  • Numbers first.

We agree at the start which numbers should move, and we check them at the end. Opinions about what changed do not count.

  • No decks.

A slide deck is a way to describe work without doing it. We hand over working things and the notes that explain them.

What we don't do
  • Headcount pitches. We do not open with who you could cut.
  • Slide-deck deliverables. Recommendations without implementation are not the work.
  • Tool lock-in. We build on what you already use where we can, and we write down why when we cannot.
  • Selling tools. We have nothing to resell, so the recommendation is never the licence.
Next step

Bring the part that hurts most.

One conversation. Bring the process or the number that worries you and we'll look at it together.
